Garjia Temple –

Situated on the tip of Huge rock in river Kosi. An Indeed place to visit with the blessings of Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesha, and Bhairo Baba in it. With 72 long steps to reach the main face of the temple. “Karthik Poornima” is the right time for the devotees to avail the blessing of almighty, Also, In the month of November this holy place is also blessed with a religious fair.

Corbett WaterFalls –

Sitabani Forest Reserve –

A hard forest area located at a distance of 10 km from Ramnagar. Not included in the part of Corbett Tiger Reserve. It can be said as the heaven of scenic watching. More than 350 bird species and 35 royal bengal tigers have their home in this forest reserve. Apart from this it also gives a massive exposure to various types of animals like barking deer, tigers, leopard, wild boars, elephant and king cobra. Also there is a Shiva Temple located in this dense forest.

Apart from birds and animals this place has a historic impact too from the prehistoric Ramayana.As mentioned in Ramayana, Sitabani Forest Reserve was the place where Goddess Sita, wife of Lord Ram, spent her exclusion days. The forest department has only two modes of transportation here which includes Elephant Rides and Jeep Safari.

Elephant safari –

    The place I just loved it.I have visited here but was not much aware about this place like Sitabani forest reserve & waterfall.I liked this page and will recommend as this have much information if you are travelling or wish to be here in the Corbett
